Do you know this about Klein + m.b.o.?
Klein + MBO could be considered part of many genres, such as Italo Disco, Garage House, Electro, Post-Disco.
Their most celebrated hit, "Dirty Talk," was an international underground hit. Many of their hits also took a similar path.
Atlantic Records released some of their tracks in the US.
Their token album debuted as "De-Ja-Vu," and later changed to "First." The sound for this album uses Roland Synths and a notorious drum machine known as the Roland 808.
"Dirty Talk" is also rumored to have had a massive impact on Chicago House and could arguably be considered the genre's first. Its influence, and many other Italo Disco tracks, spread from underground Chicago club DJs to the future pioneering producers of House.
Later, Miss Kittin & The Hacker covered it in 1998 for the French duo's EP, "Champagne."
