Do you know this about the Band easy going?
They took their name from the homonymous Roman gay club, which opened in 1978 close to Piazza Barberini, hidden in the ascent of Via Della Purificazione.
The cover of their self-titled album, "Easy Going" is a picture taken of the Roman club's dance floor.
The inaugural album, released in 1978, at the direction of Simonetti contained only four songs.
The song, "Baby I Love You" was chosen as the single, which entered the charts in several English-speaking countries.
It became a worldwide hit and was often spun by Dave Mancuso at "The Loft" in NY.
In 1979 the song "Fear" replicated the same success as it's predecessor upon release.
Their last recording was in 1980 with Casanova, where singer and dancer Russell Russell replaced Paolo Micioni.
