Do you know this about the Band easy going?

  • They took their name from the homonymous Roman gay club, which opened in 1978 close to Piazza Barberini, hidden in the ascent of Via Della Purificazione.

  • The cover of their self-titled album, "Easy Going" is a picture taken of the Roman club's dance floor.

  • The inaugural album, released in 1978, at the direction of Simonetti contained only four songs.

  • The song, "Baby I Love You" was chosen as the single, which entered the charts in several English-speaking countries.

  • It became a worldwide hit and was often spun by Dave Mancuso at "The Loft" in NY.

  • In 1979 the song "Fear" replicated the same success as it's predecessor upon release.

  • Their last recording was in 1980 with Casanova, where singer and dancer Russell Russell replaced Paolo Micioni.
