Black Celebration

The first track on the album by the same name“Black Celebration,”. The album made it to #4 on the Uk Albums Charts. Spin magazine ranked it as #15 in 1989 on their “25 Greatest Albums of All Time.” Many fans considered it an instant classic including Trent Reznor who said its influences inspired him to write “Pretty Hate Machine.” It did receive some criticism from haters on its original release but we’re not worried about their opinion.

Track Characteristics: featuring the dark sounds of Alan Wilder it starts with a great ominous intro with elements of electro, dark industrial synth, and high tempo it still gives way to some decent slowed vocals and breaks adding to the shady tones. This track is waiting to be thrown into the soundtrack of some dystopian cyberpunk cinema. It’s not all doom and gloom though it is a celebration after all!
