Nurelign Zegeye is a music producer based in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. He was born in a town called Jimma, which is also the birthplace of Mulatu Astatke, the founder of the genre Ethio-Jazz. He began playing music at home at the age of 8. Latter went to music school after high school.
He joined one of the prestigious jazz academies in Ethiopia, known as seminary school of jazz music. He majored in piano for four years. After music school, he continued perusing music as a carrier mainly in the area of music production.
He has produced a number of local artists both in gospel and non-gospel genres. He has successfully produced soundtracks, scores, and sound design as a Television and film composer for local and international companies like DSTV.
His specialty in jazz composition has created a unique experimental sound that is loved by his fans. He considers himself a student every day in the growing dynamic world of music.
